Allswell Club, as a physical space, was a unique component to an overdue creative action plan to connect Miami’s creatives with the youth of their community. Our goal was to create platforms of inclusivity and collaboration in order to build a stronger community and comradery from within.
The clubhouse was safe space that encouraged creative collaboration, genuine social interactions, and resource sharing. We created specialized programming that would create opportunities for creatives to broaden their spectrum of creativity and knowledge with skill sharing clinics held and taught by their peers.

Role: Designer/Technical Design
Rod had come to me with a project he needed assistance with. He conceptualized his intent and target look for the garment, with timing that couldn’t have been more perfect to be showcased just as Dwayne Wade would return back home to the Miami Heat. This piece was comprised of 4-5 different Heat related garments from Rod’s personal vintage collection. At Allswell Club, I crafted a pattern for all of the necessary panels this lightweight pullover jacket required. Each deconstructed piece of the vintage Heat garments were laid out to fit accordingly to be cut to size and sewn back together into the sample that would be showcased at the SINGULAR show in Miami, hosted by ABSTRK.

“Building a paradise, brick by brick”
Ive always wanted to interpret my own version of a bridge between “good clothes” and “play clothes”. The Nomad Shirt and matching shorts we produced as the first step in this process. Being able to source and use breathable materials that would dry quickly for the owner and remain comfortable enough to wear casually were the biggest concerns within the process. As a consumer, the daily “go to” pieces are coveted and keep in consistent rotation. Its my goal to create “go-to” pieces that join someone else’s regular rotation of “go-to” garments.
